Overview

We are seeking to hire a skilled Software Developer to help with the development of our current projects. Your duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures, and also working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive knowledge of programming languages and the software development life-cycle. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems, compute software engineering, engineering or mathematics degree is required.

Position Summary/Purpose

This position is responsible for developing new functionalities, improving performance and  maintaining the current software related with drawings and reports of S3D Product

Responsibilities/Main Activities

  • Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
  • Testing and evaluating new programs
  • Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
  • Writing and implementing efficient code
  • Determining operational practicality
  • Developing quality assurance procedures
  • Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
  • Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

In details,

  • Develop new functionalities related with Labels, Dimensions and Reports on Drawings and Reports of SP3D and SM3D.
  • Develop to improve performance on Drawings of SP3D and SM3D.
  • Convert from VB6 codes to C++/.NET codes as modern UX.
  • Fix bugs on Drawings and Reports of SP3D and SM3D.
  • Test Automatic Test Procedure and SUITs  to check impact of enhanced development.
  • Support specific company having critical issues.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • 4-year college graduates(Bachelor's degree) and Department related to computer systems, computer software engineering, engineering and mathematics.
  • Experience in the following:
    • C++,  .NET, VB6, XAML, UX Developable person (c in C++)
    • Preferential treatment of a skilled person in C++, C#.NET.
    • Oracle,  MSSQL
  • Preferential treatment for those who can speak English (Acceptable except the beginner level) : Korean, English communication skill for discussion, email and reporting.
  • Travels, 5-10% of the time, may be requested and cannot be refused.
  • Preferential treatment: Several years’ experience in software development and database management.

Current KPI Requirements

Current KIP on our development team is to improve velocity without a regression of our implemented items.  To do this, new employee has to have requirements of job position and is better to have several experience. After hiring new employee, we need to let new employee get training of S3D.

Objectives/Goals

  • Understand S3D Product.
  • Reproduce issued problem on our machine.
  • Analyze issued problem and find the root cause of it.
  • Find the solution by adding or modifying codes in our product.
  • Test some ATPs and SUITs to find impacts on delivered product. If no proper tests on ATP, create new test unit.
  • Run coverity and memory validator to check if no detect by suggested codes.
  • If no impact, integrate the changes into the build (Product).
  • Verify if the issued problem is fixed on the product.
