    Position Summary/Purpose

    As Leader of the RHQ Finance team, this high-profile position is responsible for the region’s accounting and financial management activities.

    Responsibilities/Main Activities

    • Ensure that APAC countries follow PPM’s accounting standards and policies.
    • Ensure Revenue recognition guidelines are properly followed.
    • Act as lead for changes in division’s accounting policies.
    • Provide guidance to countries and research any issues that countries may have.
    • Make sure that Month End Close and all other reporting is accurate and submitted on schedule for Corporate Consolidation.
    • Oversee Monthly Regional Forecast.
    • Oversee Annual Regional Budget.
    • Manage RHQ Team and act as key liaison for regional finance staff.
    • Analyse and make recommendations to management on improving the APAC business
    • Collaborate with Business Systems Manager in identifying improvement areas and help implement new/improved systems and automations as needed.


    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognised university
    • Preference for CPA / CA / MBA qualified with at least 10 years’ work experience
    • Management Experience
    • Strong financial accounting, revenue recognition, and management reporting background
    • Good written and verbal communication skills with fluent English skills
    • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise
    • Ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines
    • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet deliverables
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Self-motivated and proactive
    • Good attention to detail
    • Thorough knowledge of IFRS
    • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills & General System knowledge

    Current KPI Requirements

    • 100% compliance of PPM’s accounting standards and policies, including revenue recognition guidelines.
    • Changes to accounting policies are communicated, explained and successfully implemented by all countries.
    • Reporting is accurate and all deadlines are met.
    • Effectively manage the forecasting and budgeting processes. Make sure all deadlines are met. Improve the accuracy of the region’s revenue forecast.
    • Provide effective management and leadership to the RHQ Team.
