Responsibilities/Main Activities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking to hire a Senior Sales Manager to join our EPC Sales Team in Japan. The selected candidate should reside in Japan

 

As the Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the EPC Sales Segment in Japan, field operations, developing and implementing field sales strategies, managing sales employees and ensuring the EPC Sales Segments achieve their sales targets while exceeding customers’ expectations.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Overseeing the development of Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence’s market share by the business development and sales team within the market of the business unit.
  • Work with the Business Unit lead to ensure GTM solution packages are effective in delivering regional results
  • Work with Business Unit lead and Presales director to ensure technical sales support of sales cycle via Go Sell methodology
  • Evaluating the external business environment, assessing potential partners and competitors to identify potential business opportunities or clients then providing strategic direction to the business development and sales team as they attack identified opportunities
  • Manage, develop and execute the sales methodology and Go sell (SF.com) processes in line with company guidelines and effectively coach your sales team Identifying and assisting development of new products, services or solutions by combining several existing Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence and Group products/services to establish a corresponding market sector in order to gain new business for Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence
  • Effectively managing human, fiscal and tangible resources within the business development and sales team to successfully meet set sales targets or quotas
  • Finding and retaining sales talent by building a virtual bench, providing effective and regular training and establishing a team culture through in person sales meetings and social events
  • Identifying and gaining new business through a sustained SDR program of prospect targeting and managing the following up referrals/leads
  • Understanding the customer's objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes and forming long term business partnerships in order to leverage revenue from the relationship
  • Working closely with new clients to determine their future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue streams for Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence Conducting product demonstrations and coordinating the preparation of sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and
  • Account Management plans the enable your sales team to deliver on time results
  • Coordinating, conducting and participating in Sales promotions, campaigns ensuring pipeline and quota coverage
  • Keeping abreast of competitor's Sales strategies
  • Negotiating contracts in accordance with Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence policies.
  • Liaising with Technical Support and customer success management staff regarding technical issues to ensure client retention and continued business

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • 9+ years of software sales or consulting experience for a large enterprise software organisation
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of business development or sales professionals
  • Proven skill in identifying new markets within the external business environment and penetrating those markets by securing new clients
  • Proven track record of reliably managing and coaching a sales team to meet targets or objectives
  • Experience providing strategic direction to a group of sales professionals as well as providing strategic advice on client needs to product development teams and senior management
  • Exceptional sales ability, including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication

Skills and abilities

  • Extensive understanding of the business needs of clients within the business unit.
  • Product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and satisfy client needs with combinations of Hexagon PPM business solutions, products and services
  • Adept at sales coaching, mentoring and guiding team members by employing accrued knowledge and experience
  • Ability to leverage exceptional communication and social skills to influence and persuade clients
  • Ability to tailor and customise presentations to suit specific situations or clients, then deliver them in an effective and persuasive manner
  • Creativity, a flair for innovation and results-driven
  • Fluency in written and verbal English will be viewed favourably.
